Skin care before the fibroblast therapy

If you are preparing to be treated with plasma pen therapy, you should remember that it’s exhausting for your skin so preparation is often needed. Take care of your skin by using sunscreen with at least SPF 40 up to 2 weeks before the procedure and avoid any other procedures that might have a negative effect on the condition of your skin, such as sunbeds, sun- or spray-tanning or laser therapy. If you are unsure if the recent procedure might decrease the effectiveness of plasma pen treatment, discuss it with the doctor before the treatment.

The produced charge goes down onto the epidermis (first layer of the skin), where the magic happens. For optimal results, you should pay close attention to your skin condition in the few weeks following the treatment, especially the treatment areas. It is a non-invasive skin procedure but is still exhausting for your body. We recommend avoiding any exercise or physically challenging activity. Sweat and heat might decrease your comfort during the healing process and add to the inflammation, which is a direct result of the fibroblast treatment.
